The card arrived promptly and worked out of the box. The performance is pretty much exactly what I expected off the benchmarks and reviews by media outlets. The coil whine that some other reviewers noted is indeed present. At a total of ~$380 USD when I bought it during Cyber Monday 2022, the value for money is pretty good; certainly better than what NVidia was offering in terms of the RTX 3060 or 3070 variants.Raytracing isn't a big feature for me, and in rasterized games AMD is perfectly capable. That said, there are some noticeable features, specifically NVidia's DLSS which are just significantly superior to the AMD offering. It's hard to see in review footage, due to (at least in part) things like YouTube's video compression, but it certainly shows up in-person. However, it's not worth going up an extra $70-$100 for me, which is where the RTX 3070 remained. There is a very large gap past the $400 range where you're getting heavily diminishing returns for your performance. Quite frankly, AMD is also inflating prices here - I would certainly not call the latest $1000 xtx card a fair valuation - it's only because NVidia has pushed prices even further that AMD's offering seems more reasonable.I'm open to buying NVidia cards in the future, but the benefits they bring over the AMD competition are simply not worth the price. If AMD tries to follow suite, we will likely only have Intel's ARC GPU's remain an option - those are getting improved driver support, but are still several years away from the widespread compatibility and consistency that NVidia and AMD can offer. If you can get this card or its variants at a similar price-point to what I paid, I can certainly recommend it. It is not worth more than $400 USD.

With an R7 3700x, I was able to get about 30-40 more FPS on CoD MW2(2022). While streaming, about 20-25 more. Given the price of well under $400 and 3/4 the size of the 5700 XT, the card itself packs a punch. The limiting factor now is my CPU so I'd imagine with a 5800+ the gpu would get it's full potential. Also, this stays a lot cooler and seems to stay around 60-65c. I would highly recommend if you're on a budget and want more fps.

I was replacing a Radeon RX 5700 XT while rebuilding a HTPC. The 0 RPM fan profile for regular (non-gaming) use is perfect for this application! Ray tracing performance isn't that great, although I haven't retested with the latest drivers. Every game got a satisfying FPS and detail boost without breaking the bank. Purchased for around $400 and well worth it at that price.
February 20, 2023
Pros:
  • Excellent gaming performance at 1440p resolutions and above.
  • Features an advanced cooling system utilizing dual fan design with 2x 95mm fans.
  • Has 12GB of dedicated GDDR6 memory for higher frame rates and smoother gameplay.
  • Supports ray tracing technology for highly realistic graphics.
  • Compatible with the latest version of DirectX for improved compatibility with games and applications.
Cons:
  • Relatively high price point compared to other GPUs in its class/category.
  • Limited availability due to production constraints from AMD’s suppliers.
  • Requires an 8-pin and 6-pin power connector, which may not be available on some PC configurations/motherboards currently on the market today.

I bought this card to upgrade the graphics card in my spouse's computer, which is mainly used for playing World of Warcraft. The card was physically easy to install. Interestingly the card did not come with a DVD for the drivers, but they were easy to get from the NVidia website. The drivers installed without issues and once installed WoW worked right off the bat on high graphics settings. This is not a bad card at all for any mid-level gaming. It would probably struggle with modern games at higher settings, but for older games works quite well.

I purchased because I had factory installed MSI 2Gb graphics card. When my son opened Roblox the icons and video wouldn’t pull up and just spin. This GTX 6GB graphics card fixed it. Fast upload and the colors were deeper and brighter. Definitely worth the price. Installation was easy. Plug in the card where the existing one was plug this in then grab the 8 pin plug and plug it into the card.

I bought this to speed up photo editing time on various software products, notably Topaz Sharpen and other Topaz products. By my more-or-less exact count, this card reduced rendering time by 40%.That's what I wanted, and that's what I got, without spending a fortune.I run a Ryzen 5 5600 w/ 32 GB RAM, FTR. The Ryzen is good but it cannot compete with a good graphics card.

This is a great card. It was an easy installation, I put it in and it started right up and there was no problems whatsoever. but, the problem I have and the reason I took away one star is not for the quality of the card but for the asus store itself. The box was open before I got it. The tape been ripped from both sides of the box and part of the box was ripped. When I looked inside the card itself it was still in the static bag and the static bag did not seem like it was open. I checked it out thoroughly and there were no scratches on the card or fingerprints on it the only reason why I kept it is because I couldn't get another one in time for christmas. but the card seems to be working fine like I said only issue is somebody opened it already technically they should have been marked as open box and should have been discounted

I had issues with two other cards of this series, different models. I thought it was a hardware and software issue till I discovered I didn't have the right drivers and software support on my motherboard. I returned the other cards already and then got this card. And it works great! Not noisy even when on full blast, and the card runs surprisingly cool. It doesn't activate its fans till it hits about 60 degrees and hardly gets to that point. Solid buy and I'm glad I gave it another shot. Of the model series, the TOP edition is the latest.

This is the first graphics card I'm buying for my first PC. I bought it used on Black Friday so it was very affordable. I expected it to be in loose packaging but it came in the antistatic bag and Styrofoam. It seemed practically brand new and I've had no problems. I'm starting out with older ganes I've wanted to play like Battlefield 4, GTA 5 and Warframe at maximum graphics settings and the GPU rarely touches 50% utilization and sometimes goes up to 30%. All in all it was a good experience and I'm satisfied with the product.

The product I got was wonderfully well taken care of; it has served my needs beautifully. Everything works as advertised and the seller is marvelous. Overall, one of my better buying experiences.

Bought this as a upgrade from a evga geforce gtx 980 SC gpu. Obviously a massive upgrade. The 2070/3070/4070 is the cream of the crop gpu for gaming. If bought at msrp it's the best performance for your dollar. My system:Amd R5 5600xMsi mpg b550 mobo32gb corsair vengeance pro rgbCorsair 4000D mid atx case.Evga 850 supernova psuSamsung M.2 p980 pro 1tb ssd gen 3This gpu performs very well in all games.1440p gpu = balanced1080p overkill gpu4k just enough to enjoy it at 30 fps +Over 100 fps at max setting on current triple A games on 1080p and 1440p. On some more demanding titles you'll see some decent 1% lows tho. Average around 70 to 90 fps but is able to push over 144 fps in most dx11 titles.Pros: everything stated aboveCons: lack of rgb lol [ basic ]Will fit is mid tower atx case. Just have to sacrifice having a 240mm radiator aio cooler to have enough cooling.

  • 8GB of GDDR6 memory with 448GB/s bandwidth.
  • Ray-tracing capabilities for realistic visuals.
  • Low power consumption compared to other models in the series.
  • Supports up to 4K resolution for a high-definition gaming experience.
Cons:
  • Limited availability due to high demand and short supply.

I got this card used at a great price from Amazon Warehouse - In "acceptable" condition. It looked far better than acceptable - No dings, dust, fingerprints, scratches, or anything like that. But it did smell a little... well... burned, I guess. So Amazon's grading system is definitely fair/accurate in this case. The smell has pretty much gone away with use, but I do wonder what it was. Maybe run hard for mining or something? I don't know. I was concerned at first, but so far, so good -Card works exactly as expected - cool and quiet, with great 1440p performance well over 100fps+ on every game I tried so far w/out Ray Tracing (and somewhat better ray tracing than people say.) I checked RT with Control and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and was able to maintain a solid 1440p (no fsr or rsr)frame rate over 60 fps on ultra/very high graphics with Ray Tracing on (but not cranked all the way) in both- no problem. Older games, yes. But that's what I have. I have an older workstation and a 2k 165hz monitor so I don't know how well it does with a newer processor (I'm sure a little better,) or 4k. I would guess many games would run 4k fine, given the stellar 2k performance. The card is BIG- check your measurements and make sure it fits before you buy. It fit in my old HP z440 with no problem, and my 700 watt power supply is definitely enough. Cooling in the case itself not great, but temps stay low on this card anyways. Definitely overbuilt. Also you can turn off the lights with a switch on the GPU, which I did because you can't see them anyways in my case.Very pleased with this card so far, and with Amazon Warehouse. I will edit this later if there are any nasty performance surprises, although I do not expect any.

Okay, my review after owning for a few weeks now. When it’s working it’s a fantastic card. great fps, cool temps, low noise levels… it does have a small very faint coil whine with my 750w psu ( I have to have headphones off and case open to actually hear it) and I have had a string of driver issues related to this card that I wasn’t having with my 6600xt. I’ve used DDU to uninstall all drivers again and physical re installed the card so hopefully that clears everything up…All in all still a fantastic card, looks great, but has some kinks somewhere still for me
December 27, 2022
This GPU has been fantastic in terms of performance. It is perfect for the 1440p 170hz gaming that I do, and it runs extremely cool and quiet for the amount of power that it consumes. I find that in silent mode, which I use, it pulls about 210 watts at 65c to 70c according to AMD Adrenalin Addition. I can't hear the fans at all, which is fantastic. The one downside that I've found to this GPU is the amount of coil whine. Initially, I was using a Corsair CX600M PSU, which worked to power it and my Ryzen 5 3600, but there was some extreme coil whine coming from both the PSU and the GPU. I upgraded to a Corsair RM850, and I've found that the coil whine is gone from the PSU but that there is still some minor coil whine at the 170hz that I play on. It's quite tolerable though now, and I'm very happy with this GPU otherwise. If you're looking to game at high refresh rates and care a lot about having a very quiet PC, I might consider a lower-power GPU than this one, but otherwise, the GPU has been fantastic. For the $470 that I got it for, it was a great value as well.

Built a computer for my girlfriend for Christmas and with all the gpu prices being crazy I was able to snag this for about $800. The computer runs very smooth and games run well at high refresh rates. Paired it with an i5-2600k cpu. Quite jealous of her new build so I will be upgrading my old setup (currently with the Zotac 1080ti) with the Zotac 4070 ti. Nonetheless, great product!

La compre en su momento con un gran descuento y no esperaba menos, aunque el diseño no me convencía la adquirí por el precio. En warzone me jalaba unos 180fps
December 21, 2022
Its a value 3080, it's loud as hell but i wear headphones and my mic is noise canceling. Also my pc sits on the table next to my monitors so if it were under the desk I probably wouldn't hear it as much. Overclocking in minimal on the card as the power delivery system is basic. Other than that I get an average of 90 fps on Forza Horizon 5 at max quality, 1440p. Cod I get 190 fps at competitive quality settings at 1440p, I play DayZ aswell and I get 300 fps at competitive settings.
January 2, 2023
Pros:
  • Superior gaming performance due to its powerful GPU.
  • Improved ray tracing, shading and rasterized graphics capabilities.
  • Large memory capacity of 10GB GDDR6X VRAM for high-resolution textures and games.
  • Enhanced efficiency for power-hungry applications such as video editing and complex game engines.
  • HDMI 2.1 supports fast refresh rates at resolutions up to [email protected] or [email protected]
Cons:
  • A high price tag of around $700-$800 USD makes it unaffordable for many consumers.
  • Limited availability due to high demand and scalper activities, making it hard to purchase even at full retail price.
  • 3. Requirement of a 650-watt power supply unit with multiple 8-pin connectors for optimal performance, which can be costly or difficult to upgrade existing PC hardware configurations to meet that requirement.
  • Higher heat levels than the previous generation.
